An engineer by profession and a painting artist by passion.

Learnt watercolor painting in 2018 in the 3-hours-a-week evening short course at NAFA (Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts) with Janice Chin for a year.

COVID came in 2019 and from then onwards, most studies are all online (zoom, mentorship program) and books. Some of my mentors include Amit Kapoor (India), Andy Evanston (USA), Nina Volt (Australia), Praful Sawant (India), Michael Silovyev (Canada), Pito Campos (Argentina). Javid Tabatabaei (Canada). 

2-3 days in-person workshops were taken with Direk Kingnok (Thailand), Joseph Zbukvic (Australia), Lisa Wong (Australia), Herman Pekel (Australia), Myint Naing (Myanmar), NB Gurung (Nepal), Yang Chih Wei (Taiwan). 

Won the Gold Award in 2025 Penang International Watercolor Festival, Malaysia.

I enjoy figure drawing with Charcoal and graphite too. Raphael Koh (NAFA) is my charcoal teacher.

Life-long learning is part of me and I’m always trying to make the new version of me.
